Trevor Yates Recognised for 25 Years Service at J&J Siddons back to list

01 April 2014

Works manager Trevor Yates joined J&J Siddons on April 1st 1989 having previously worked for us as a consultant. He helped modernise the foundry processes and was instrumental in developing our use of the cold-box core making process and our movement into new markets with the establishment of our SG and Steel Foundry, Siddons Alloy Castings, 25 years ago.

With a good all round technical knowledge and 45 years of foundry experience Trevor's expertise has enabled J&J Siddons to produce some very technically demanding castings.

Managing Director Andrew Siddons first met Trevor at Sandwell college of commerce and technology, (now Sandwell college) in 1973 where they both studied, for their HND in Foundry Technology. He gave a personal thank you to Trevor for his hard work over the last 25 years and presented him with a gold watch in recognition of his long service.
